Terrapin's Turf

Terrapin's Turf is a bar at 4410 Knox Rd in College Park, steps from the University of Maryland. Google describes it as a spacious American restaurant and bar known for energetic crowds, drink specials and live entertainment. It has a 3.7-star Google rating across 328 reviews.

Feedback is divided. Google's review summaries highlight reasonable prices, good food, music and a fun atmosphere, and one recent reviewer praises the sliders. Many of the most recent written reviews, though, are critical: reviewers complain about an automatic 20% gratuity they say was not posted, overcharged drinks, rude management and, in one case, unprofessional security staff late at night. A weekly wine special is mentioned, though one reviewer felt it was poor value.

Terrapin's Turf is closed Monday, opens in the late afternoon Tuesday–Friday and late morning on weekends, and runs until 2 or 3 AM most nights. Google lists a wheelchair-accessible restroom.
